- I was among 8 students from the Indiana University undergraduate student body nominated by faculty and selected to be a peer tutor for the IU Writing Program. Throughout my employment there, I provided free writing tutorial sessions to students from all disciplines and levels on behalf of the university. I worked to improve the overall writing skills of my students while also assisting them with specific assignments: business proposals, essays, research papers, grad school applications, honors theses, writing of all shapes and sizes. -Most recently, I've tutored students from Carmel High School, Hamilton Southeastern High School, Carmel Middle School, and Butler University. -Aside from tutoring, I'm also a professional freelance writer and designer, and I'm happy to say that I'm lucky enough to be making a living doing work that I love. -I write approximately 1000 words daily. -The writing process is something that has to be approached with patience and enthusiasm, and that's how I conduct my tutoring sessions. I can think of no greater source of inspiration for myself than to help somebody else gradually develop their own appreciation for the craft.

In my free time, I enjoy collecting and creating music, sustainable farming/gardening, watching movies, and of course, eating delicious food. Fun fact: after graduating college, I managed a farm-to-table program at Indiana's oldest organic farm for two years before moving back to Indianapolis to pursue writing.
